Portare has been crafting custom built road cases since 1987. From backdoor bars to the largest stadiums, our quality built cases have time and time again proven their resiliance. With our custom built protection – you can rest easy knowing that your equipment is safe.
We insist on using only the best materials possible to ensure that your equipment is protected at all times. Here’s a glimpse into our “one step at a time” approach to building roadcases.
We begin with pre-laminated high-impact ABS Plastic. This material is an impenetrible combination of three different plastics that maximize surface hardness, impact resistance, and rigidity. Available in a wide variety of colors.
The High Impact ABS Plastic is then laminated to a birch wood backing. The wood backing gives the cases extra support needed for longevity and durability. It also provides the much needed protection to the contents of the case during transportation.
Providing additional support to the cases are a trim of aluminum angle and aluminum tongue and groove. This trimming gives the cases added structure and serious durability – while at the same time preventing harm while on the road.
We understand the level of stress these cases will endure on the road. Steel corners and handles provide extra strength to the construction of the case as well as protect it from dents and scratches.
Ease of transportation is crucial as you move from stage to stage and city to city. High-grade wheelplates and casters allow our cases to be moved quickly and easily – no matter their size.
For cases requiring extra protection we custom fit Ester or Plank foam in the case, to hold your equipment in place during transport.
